MX Linux 19.2 is here

MX Linux have just released their second refresh of MX-Linux 19, consisting of bug fixes and application updates.

MX Linux have been getting good reviews consistently over the past few years and have grown to become one of the most popular distributions out there. They have been ranking #1 on distrowatch for quite some time now.

The distro is based on Debian, version 10.4 “buster” to be precise and the default desktop environment is Xfce, version 4.14.

One of their their strengths is the detailed documentation available. For MX 19 they have an excellent 181 page pdf document covering all aspects of the system.

There is typically one major release a year, around December, followed by point releases such as this one.

If you want to give it a spin, head to their download links’ page, the ISO is about 1.6GB.

I might even give it a go as my Fedora 32 system is acting up a bit (Today, Gnome crashed while taking a screen shot and the system automatically signed me out to recover). Thank WP for auto draft save!

Cheers!

Mike
